About the role

As a System Administrator at Ralecon, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across all departments. You will be responsible for managing our network, servers, hardwares and software applications,
as well as providing technical support to our team members.

Job summary

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems to ensure smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability and security of all systems, including servers, networks, and databases.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups to minimise downtime and mitigate risks.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to restore functionality.
• Collaborate with departments to address technical issues and support ongoing projects.
• Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in system administration, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end users, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.

You are the right fit, if you have

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You have at least 2 years of experience as a system administrator or a similar role.
• You have expertise in managing Windows and Linux server environments.
• You have proficiency in network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• You have experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• You possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues promptly.
• You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with team members and external vendors.
